KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: November 20, 2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve the Amendment to the Professional <br />Services Agreement between Kittitas County and Family Healthcare of Ellensburg for <br />11/1/18-12/31/18. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: This amendment is to an existing agreement between Kittitas <br />County and Family Healthcare of Ellensburg. The existing agreement is to provide on- <br />site medical care to the inmate population within the Kittitas County Correctional Center <br />for 2018. The only change is to the rate, which is increasing from $3,905.41 per month <br />($46,864.92 per year) to $5,000/month for November and December of 2018. A 2019 <br />contract is pending negotiations. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has reviewed and <br />approved. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve the Amendment to the 2018 Professional <br />Services Agreement between Kittitas County and Family Healthcare of Ellensburg for <br />November and December 2018. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return one copy to the Sheriff’s Office. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Undersheriff Clay Myers
