Kittitas County Commissioners <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />09-18-2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Request the Board of County Commissioners to sign the Professional Services Agreement <br />Amendment between Kittitas County and B&F Services for the Horticultural Pest and Disease <br />Board. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The agreement is for the control and eradication of the apple maggot within Kittitas County. This <br />agreement will fund necessary services for the prevention/control of the apple maggot. This <br />agreement coincides with the grant funds we receive from the Washington State Department of <br />Agriculture. The agreement was for $30,000 amending the agreement to $100,000. The effective <br />date on the original start date of the agreement was July 1, 2017. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Urban Eberhart, Chair Horticultural Pest & Disease Board <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Recommend the Board approve and sign the Professional Services Agreement Amendment <br />between Kittitas County and B&F Services for the Horticultural Pest and Disease Board. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br />Return originals to Judy she will mail and obtain signatures <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Judy Pless
