BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2018 -/ ~ {_p <br />AUTHORIZING THE AIRPORT MANAGER (ELN) TO APPROVE THE 2018 <br />AIRPORT LAYOUT PLAN <br />WHEREAS: Public Works has been working (2015-2018) with Century West Engineering and <br />the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to finalize the Master Plan Update for <br />Bowers Field; and <br />WHEREAS: The FAA requires sponsor approval of the Airport Layout Plan (ALP) ahead of <br />Master Plan adoption; and <br />· WHEREAS: Century West Engineering has prepared the 2018 ALP for sponsor and FAA <br />approval; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby authorize the Airport Manager to approve the 2018 ALP <br />as prepared by Century West Engineering supporting the 2015-2018 Master Plan Update <br />process. <br />DATED this 21st day of August, 2018, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />_)2rClerk of the Board-Julie Kjorsvik <br />D Deputy Clerk of the Board-Mandy Buchholz <br />I <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHING TON <br />2§&J,airman <br />tkLe~ <br />Obie O'Brien, Vice-Chairman
