BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZINGTHE TREASURER’S INVESTMENT POOL AND <br />CREATION OF AN INVESTMENT OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE FUND. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2018 -______ <br />Whereas:The Kittitas County Treasurer is authorized, but not required, by RCW 36.29.020, 36.29.022, and 36.29.024 to offer investment pooling opportunities for local governments and <br />districts located in Kittitas County; <br />Whereas:RCW 36.29.024 allows for the creation of an Investment Operations and Maintenance Fund, which is used and managed by theCounty Treasurer to charge fees to cover the actual expenditure <br />of operating the investment pool, without regard to budget limitations and requirements; <br />Whereas: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners approves of and authorizes the creation of the County Treasurer’s Investment Pool to allow investment <br />pooling opportunities for local governments and districts located in Kittitas County. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ALSO RESOLVED,the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners approves of and authorizes the creation ofthe Treasurer’s Investment Operations and Maintenance <br />Fund, which shall be used by the County Treasurer as a revolving fund to defray the cost of administering the pool without regard to budget limitations. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ALSO RESOLVED,APPROVED, this ______ day of ______________, 2018, at Ellensburg, Washington.BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERSKITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />__________________________________Laura Osiadacz, Chair <br />__________________________________Obie O’Brien, Vice-Chair__________________________________ <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />ATTEST <br />_____________________________ <br />Clerk of the Board
