Ruby St., Suite 2, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />CDS@CO.KITTITAS.WA.US <br />Office (509) 962-7506 <br />Fax (509) 962-7682 <br /> <br />“Building Partnerships – Building Communities” <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: August 21, 2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Board of County Commissioners signature of the Resolution approving the Suncadia Phase <br />3 Division 14 Preliminary Plat (LP-18-00002). <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Steven Lathrop, authorized agent for New Suncadia, LLC, landowner, submitted an <br />application for a 10 detached residential lot plat with an access tract and a community open <br />space tract on approximately 6.97 acres of land that is zoned Master Planned Resort. The <br />proposed lots range in size from 0.31 acres to 0.79 acres. In conjunction with this <br />preliminary plat application, a site development plan was submitted for Suncadia Phase 3 <br />Division 14 and a boundary line adjustment with the adjacent parcel 950044 which would <br />add 0.62 acres to parcel 950057 creating the total plat area of approximately 6.97 acres. The <br />project is Phase 3 Division 14 of the Suncadia Master Planned Resort. The preliminary <br />approval of the boundary line adjustment and approval of the site development plan were <br />granted on August 1, 2018 <br /> <br /> The subject property is located off of Tired Creek Lane, Cle Elum, WA 98922. Section 14, <br />T20N, R14E, WM, in Kittitas County. Assessor’s Map Numbers 20-14-14050-0021, parcel <br />number 950057. <br /> <br /> The Board of County Commissioners conducted an open record hea ring on August 7, 2018 <br />at 2pm. There were eight members of the public in attendance at the hearing, six of whom <br />provided comment during the hearing. A motion was made and seconded by the BOCC to <br />approve the proposal as presented by staff and for staff to prepare the enabling documents. <br />The motion was approved by a vote of 3-0. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: CDS Staff and BOCC <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners sign the resolution <br />for the Suncadia Phase 3 Division 14 Preliminary Plat (LP-18-00002). <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return signed resolution to CDS Staff for issuance of the Notice of Decision. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution for signatures. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Lindsey Ozbolt, Planning Official
