KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: August 7, 2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request Boards Signature on a Professional Service Agreement with <br />ALSC Architects. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Board of County Commissioners received a grant from the <br />Department of Agriculture to make improvements to the Bloom <br />Pavilion at the Event Center. The improvements are the first step <br />toward improvements recommended in the Event Center Master plan. <br /> The County has been working with ALSC on a larger Barns and <br />Bloom design project since December 2016. <br /> This agreement will allow ALSC Architect to complete the <br />engineering, design, bid documents and provide for inspections <br />during construction of the Heating, Ventilation, and Footing <br />improvements to Bloom Pavilion. <br /> <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Prosecutors office has reviewed the Professional Service <br />agreement. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Recommend Boards signature on the Professional Service Agreement. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Original – Clerk of the Board <br /> Copy – Auditor <br /> Copy – Solid Waste <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Professional Service Agreement and Fee Schedule <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Patti Johnson, Solid Waste Director <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
