KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />August 7, 2018 <br />Request to Set a Public Hearing for August 21, <br />2018 at 2pm to consider a potential stop sign <br />installation at 3rd Street and Atlantic Avenue <br />(Ronald) and Amend Section 10.08.020 of the <br />Kittitas County Code. <br />BACKGROUND: Recently, residents along 3rd Street in Ronald <br />requested a traffic study to determine the <br />validity of installing a stop sign at the <br />intersection of 3rd Street and Atlantic Avenue <br />in Ronald. Public Works is now ready to share <br />the results of the traffic study with the Board of <br />County Commissioners and 3rd Street <br />residents. <br />INTERACTION: <br />Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing to consider placing a stop <br />sign at the intersection of 3rd Street and <br />Atlantic Avenue (Ronald) and Amend Section <br />10.08.020 of the Kittitas County Code. <br />HANDLING: Return a Signed Notice of Public Hearing to <br />Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Notice of Public Hearing and Vicinity Map. <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
