BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2018-()q~ <br />RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE EXECUTION OF AN INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN KITTITAS COUNTY AND THE STATE OF WASHINGTON, <br />DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY <br />WHEREAS, RCW 39.34, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, provides the capability for public <br />agencies to cooperate for mutual advantage; and <br />WHEREAS, Engrossed Substitute Senate Bill (ESSB) 6091 (Effective Date of January 19, <br />2018) requires the Department of Ecology to initiate a pilot metering project <br />throughout the state including Kittitas County; and <br />WHEREAS, the roles and responsibilities of the Department of Ecology and Kittitas County as <br />they pertain to the pilot metering project are detailed in the attached interagency <br />agreement and incorporated herein by reference. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas <br />County, Washington, hereby authorizes execution of an interagency agreement <br />with the state of Washington , Department of Ecology, that is attached hereto, and <br />incorporated herein by reference . <br />DATED thi s p -n , 2 0 18 at E ll e ns bu rg, Wash in gton . <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />~TY, WASHIN:TON <br />== <br />Comm1 ss1o ner
