KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: July 17, 2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Acknowledge a Change on the Kittitas County <br />Library Advisory Board & the Kittitas County <br />Homelessness & Affordable Housing Committee. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: On July 5, 2018 the Board of County <br />Commissioners Office received a letter from <br />Josephine Camarillo, Library Director for <br />Ellensburg Public Library with an update for their <br />membership representation due to the Bylaws being <br />amended at the end of 2017. <br /> <br /> On July 11, 2018 the Board of County <br />Commissioners office received a letter from City <br />Manager John Akers regarding a change in City <br />Representation on the County’s Homelessness & <br />Affordable Housing Committee. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Ms. Camarillo, Director of the Ellensburg Public <br />Library/KC Library Advisory Board Member has <br />asked that current member Maureen Rust move into <br />the CWU Representative Position leaving her <br />Member at Large Position open. <br /> <br />John Akers, City Manager has asked that <br />Councilmember David Miller Represent the City of <br />Ellensburg on the County’s Homelessness & <br />Affordable Housing Committee (removing Nancy <br />Goodloe). <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Acknowledge the Library Advisory Boards (LAB) <br />request to move Maureen Rust to the CWU Rep on <br />the LAB. <br /> <br /> Acknowledge the City of Ellensburg’s request to <br />move Councilmember David Miller to the County’s <br />Homelessness & Affordable Housing Committee. <br />
