Ruby St., Suite 2, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />CDS@CO.KITTITAS.WA.US <br />Office (509) 962-7506 <br />Fax (509) 962-7682 <br /> <br />“Building Partnerships – Building Communities” <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: July 3, 2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request for Board signature of the Ordinance authorizing a 2018 Amendment to <br />Kittitas County Code Title 17, Amending Maximum Lot Coverage requirements <br />within Urban Growth Areas on Residential and Urban Residential zoned lands. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: On June 25, 2018, the Board of Commissioners held a public hearing to consider <br />Planning Commission recommendation on amendments to Kittitas County Code Title <br />17, Maximum Lot Coverage requirements within Urban Growth Areas on Residential <br />and Urban Residential zoned lands. The Board of County Commissioners voted <br />unanimously to approve the Planning Commission Recommendation, and directed <br />staff to prepare enabling documents. The ordinance authorizing these amendments is <br />attached. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: CDS, Prosecuting Attorney, Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Ordinance extending moratorium for six months or until standards and/or criteria for <br />siting solar facilities are adopted, whichever occurs first. <br /> <br />STAFF <br />RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the Board sign the ordinance. <br /> <br />HANLDING: Presentation to the Board by Kittitas County Community Development Services. <br /> <br />RESPONSIBLE STAFF: Lindsey Ozbolt, Community Development Services Planning Official <br />
