KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />RESOLUTION No._2018-.QQ l'1 <br />A Resolution correcting the levying certification for the General Fund <br />for municipal purposes of Kittitas County, Washington for the year 2018 according <br />to the assessed valuation as determined in the year 2017. <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners has met and considered its budget for <br />the calendar year 2018; and <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners, after hearing and after duly <br />considering all relevant evidence and testimony presented , and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution 2017-189 certifying the levy <br />amounts to be collected in 2018 as provided in the County's budget as follows: <br />General Fund (Current Expense) <br />Community Services <br />Veterans Assistance <br />Total <br />$7,900,000 <br />155,000 <br />45,000 <br />$8,100,000 <br />WHEREAS, the levy rate for the Community Services portion of the General Fund levy, as <br />prescribed by RCW 71.20.110 and RCW 84 .55, needs to be calculated based upon a flat levy of .025 per <br />thousand dollars assessed value or the levy amount may be increased or reduced in the same proportion as <br />compared to the prior year's certified county general levy. <br />WHERAS, the County Assessor's calculation shows the Community Services levy for collection in <br />2018 should be $156,750, for a difference of $1,750. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, in accordance with RCW 84 .52 .020 , the Board of County <br />Commissioners for Kittitas County, do hereby certify that the following levy amounts be collected in 2018 as <br />provided in the County's budget; and corrected by this Resolution: <br />General Fund (Current Expense) <br />Community Services <br />Veterans Assistance <br />Total <br />DATED, this 16th day of January 2018. <br />$7,898,260 <br />156 ,740 <br />45,000 <br />$8,100,000 <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />T¥, ASHINGTON <br />,
