BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOL TIO N <br />NO.2017-J /).1 <br />RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE RENEWAL OF AN INTERLOCAL COOPERATION <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN KITTITAS COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT AND <br />CITY OF ELLENSBURG <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County, through the Kittitas County Publi Heatth De parlmen l (KCPHD), is <br />charged with the preservation, promotion,.and im provementof hea lth in the County; and <br />WHEREAS, KCPHD and City of Ellensburg entered into an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement dated, <br />October 3, 2016, for the purpose of providing Sharps Disposal Kits; and <br />WHEREAS, The duration of the Agreement is for one (1) year, with the option to renew for <br />successive five (5) year periods upon written consent of the Parties. <br />WHEREAS, the Parties desire to renew the Agreement, that is attached hereto and incorporated <br />by reference, providing for a new expiration date of October 3, 2022'.
