MiscJudy/Advance Agreement Staff Report <br />Kittitas County <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Agenda Date: May 15, 2018 <br /> <br />Action Requested: Request to have the Chairman sign the Amendment to County Program <br />Agreement–Long Term Payable Agreement (DSHS Agreement # 1763-88849 <br />Amendment No 01) <br /> <br /> <br />Background: The County currently has an agreement with DSHS for funds held in advance for the <br />Developmental Disability and Substance Abuse Programs. The amount currently on <br />hand is $91,144.00 for Developmental Disabilities (DD). On April 1, 2018, the <br />County Auditor sent in a Contract Period Analysis to DSHS for the advance funds to <br />determine if the need is still present and to verify the funds are still available. These <br />advance funds are to alleviate the cash flow problems associated with the time lag <br />between payment by the County for services and reimbursement from DSHS. This <br />agreement date is from July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019.
