My apologies for the mix-up or any turmoil this may have caused. If you would do me a favor to alleviate this potential problem in the future, please create an account on the County's website, then create an Admissions Tax account and request an exemption "your event being in the Ellensburg City limits". This will be recorded in our Admissions Tax records, so not to create an issue in the future. As I researched our records, you have not registered on the County's website, nor have you remitted any Admissions Taxes for 2016 or 2017. Based upon the fact that no taxes have been received, I will have to recommend to the Board of County Commissioners that they not honor your request for the Special Event application for July 14, 2018. Your 2018 application is going to be reviewed by the Board on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 10:30 am.
