KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: Tuesday, April 17, 2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve Professional Services Agreement Annual <br />Renewal between Kittitas County and Government Payment Service, Inc. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office elects to renew for a one-year <br />period, to 4/1/19, the agreement originally effective on February 3, 2015 with <br />Government Payment Services, Inc. for the services described in the original agreement. <br />This vendor provides the capability for County Corrections to take online bail payments <br />and for the Sheriff’s Office to take customer payments for services for which a fee is <br />charged (e.g., CPLs and civil papers). Card payments are automatically deposited into the <br />bank account specified by the County Treasurer. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: This professional services agreement was reviewed and approved by <br />the Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve Professional Services Agreement Annual <br />Renewal between Kittitas County and Government Payment Service, Inc. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Please return one set of fully executed originals to Kittitas County <br />Sheriff’s Office for us to send to the vendor. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Command Staff
