Kittitas County <br />Prosecutor <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />2/20/2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Sign updated agreement <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Kittitas County has had a Professional Services Agreement with Friends of the KC Fair Foundation for <br />years. The parties have operated under the terms of an expired agreement. Friends believes we should <br />update that contract to make the agreement renewable without action, but subject to review and termination. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Friends has performed services for the County for years, findings sponsorships, and raising and spending <br />well over $100,000 on improvements for the Kittitas County Event Center operations and in support of the <br />Kittitas County Fair. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Sign agreement <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br />Sign agreement, file, provide signed copy to friends <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Greg Zempel <br />
