KITTITA S COUNTY <br />SHERIFF'S OFFICE <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: Tuesday, March 6, 2018 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge 2018 Cooperative Law Enforcement <br />Agreement #14 -LE -11061720-011 Mod 004 between the Kittitas County Sheriff s Office <br />and the US Forest Service, Okanogan -Wenatchee National Forest. <br />BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Sheriff s Office has worked with the US Forest <br />Service for several years. The purpose of this agreement is to document a cooperative <br />effort between the parties to enhance State and local law enforcement in connection with <br />activities on National Forest Service lands and provide for reimbursement to the Kittitas <br />County Sheriff s Office. <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has reviewed and <br />approved. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Acknowledge 2018 Cooperative Law Enforcement <br />Agreement #14 -LE -1 1061720-011 Mod 004 between the Kittitas County Sheriff's Office <br />and the US Forest Service, Okanogan -Wenatchee National Forest. <br />HANDLING: Sheriff Office to provide BOCC a signed original upon receiving USFS <br />signatures. <br />LEAD STAFF: Command Staff <br />
