KITTITAS COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COURTHOUSE, ROOM 108 <br />205 W FIFTH, ELLENSBURG, WA 98926 <br />(509) 962-7508 <br />March 08, 2017 <br />Board of County Commissioners, <br />The Board of Equalization occasionally has the need for an alternate member to fulfill its duties <br />with a three person Board, especially during vacations or illness. RCW 84.48.014 County Board <br />of Equalization -Composition of Board -Appointment -Qualifications, states -The Board of <br />Equalization of each county shall consist of not less than three nor more than seven members <br />including alternates. Such members shall be appointed by a majority of the members of the <br />county legislative authority, and shall be selected based upon the qualifications established by <br />rule by the department of revenue and shall not be a holder of any elective office nor be an <br />employee of any elected official. <br />Jessica Hutchinson has been an active member of the Board of Equalization (BOE) in the past <br />and has expressed an interest in working with the BOE again.
