<br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: April 3, 2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request Board Signature on Step Placement Notification Letters to <br />Large Scale Grant Applicants. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Technical Review Team (TRT), an advisory committee, was <br />formed to assist the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee by reviewing <br />proposed capital improvement projects and assisting the applicants <br />through the four step process. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: During a Special Meeting of the TRT on March 12, 2018, the TRT <br />reviewed each large-scale grant application scoring 50 points and <br />above; completed their Initial Project Evaluation Form for each <br />applicant and voted to forward their Evaluation Forms to the Lodging <br />Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) for review. The LTAC reviewed <br />the Initial Project Evaluation Forms from the TRT and voted to <br />forward the Evaluation Forms and to the Board of County <br />Commissioners (BOCC) for approval. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request the BOCC approve and sign the Step Placement Letters to the <br />Large Scale Grant Applicants. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Original – Clerk of the Board <br /> Original- mail to grant applicant <br /> Copy – LTAC <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Step Placement Notification Letter with TRT Evaluation Form <br /> Four Step Process <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Debbie Myers, LTAC Clerk <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
