<br /> <br />PROCLAMATION <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Kittitas High School Boys Basketball Team <br />2018 State 2B Champions Day – April 13, 2018 <br /> <br />WHEREAS: the Kittitas High School Boys’ Basketball had an overall record of 25 wins and 1 loss during their <br />2017-2018 season; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: the Kittitas High School Boys Basketball team took first place in their League, Districts, and <br />qualified for the 2B State High School Basketball Tournament in Spokane, Washington; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: on March 3, 2018 the Kittitas High School boys basketball team defeated the St. George Dragons <br />in the State Championship game by a score of 65-50 at the Spokane Arena; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: this year marks the Kittitas Coyotes second straight 2B Boys Basketball State Championship Title <br />which is something truly remarkable for not only themselves but for the entire community; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners would like to recognize the Kittitas High School Boys <br />Basketball Team members Caleb Harris, Justin Hudson, Cole Lenihan, Treyden Wilson, Cayson <br />Walker, Bailey Gibson, Christian Mata, Connor Brown, Mason Landdeck, Cade Walker, Martin <br />Arreola and Brock Ravet, along with their coaches and assistants for their historically successful <br />season, great sportsmanship, dedication, teamwork and love for the sport of basketball; <br /> <br />WHEREAS: the Kittitas Coyotes boys basketball team continues to serve as both leaders on and off the court, as <br />well as ambassadors of Kittitas County while traveling throughout Washington State during their <br />season; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners would like to request <br />that the citizens of Kittitas County join them in celebrating and honoring the 2018 Kittitas High School Boys’ <br />Basketball Team and Proclaim April 13, 2018 as “Kittitas High School Boys Basketball Team 2B State Champions <br />Day” in Kittitas County. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 3rd day of April, 2018. <br />THE KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br /> Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br /> <br /> <br /> Obie O’Brien, Vice-Chairman <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: Paul Jewell, Commissioner <br /> <br /> <br />Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board
