KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: May 3, 2016 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Consider an Appointment to the Planning Commission Dist.#1 <br />Vacancy & Authorize the Chair to Sign a Letter of appointment <br />once BoCC selects the new member. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Currently there is one (1) vacant position on the Kittitas County <br />Planning Commission for Dist #1. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Mary Monahan Application submitted on 3-10-2016. <br /> Robert Martin Application submitted on 3-22-2016. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Appoint one of the two Applications submitted for Dist. #1 <br />Planning Commission, for a term to commence immediately & <br />expire on December 31, 2016 and authorize the Chair to sign a <br />letter of appointment. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Staff to notify the selected candidate and notify the Clerk of the <br />Planning Commission, as well as update Boards and Committees <br />website. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Applications from: Mary Monahan (Dist. #1) <br /> Robert Martin (Dist. #1) <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board
