MiscJudy/Advance Agreement Staff Report <br />Kittitas County <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Agenda Date: May 3, 2016 <br /> <br />Action Requested: Request to have the Chairman sign the Amendment to County Program <br />Agreement–Long Term Payable Agreement (DSHS Agreement # 1563-32734- <br />01) <br /> <br /> <br />Background: The County currently has an agreement with DSHS for funds held in advance for the <br />Developmental Disability and Substance Abuse Programs. The amount currently on <br />hand is $59,564.00 for Developmental Disabilities and $32,580.00 for Substance <br />Abuse. On March 10, 2009, the County Auditor sent in a Contract Period Analysis to <br />DSHS for the advance funds to determine if the need is still present and to verify the <br />funds are still available. These advance funds are to alleviate the cash flow <br />problems associated with the time lag between payment by the County for services <br />and reimbursement from DSHS. The original agreement was signed on June 3, <br />2008 by Commissioner Mark McClain. This original agreement date is from July 1, <br />2015 through June 30, 2016.
