Kittitas County <br />Public Health Office <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />3/1/2016 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Public Health Administrator on the <br />Interagency Agreement Amendment 1 between Grant County and Kittitas County Public Health <br />Department. (Effective dates: January 1, 2015 through September 29, 2018) <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Interagency Agreement Amendment 1 between Grant County and Kittitas County Public Health <br />Department increases the original grant amount and extends agreement until September 2018. The <br />agreement establishes collaborative work for Healthy Communities, Obesity, Diabetes, Heart Disease and <br />the Stroke Prevention programs. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office: Reviewed and approved by the Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office on <br />February 2, 2016. <br />Kittitas County Auditor’s Office: Reviewed and approved by the Kittitas County Auditor’s Office on <br />February 11, 2016. <br /> <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Interagency Agreement Amendment 1 between Grant County and Kittitas County Public Health <br />Department increases the original grant amount and extends agreement until September 2018.
