<br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: February 16, 2016 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Codification of Amended KCC Chapter 3.22 Admissions Tax <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: On January 19, 2016, at a public hearing at 2:00 p.m., after due <br />notice, the Board of County Commissioners adopted an admissions <br />tax. To codify that, and hence give the public notice of it, as well as <br />to direct the Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners to publish <br />the same in a paper of general circulation, as required by RCW <br />36.38.030, so also to give appropriate public notice, it is suggested <br />that the Board codify the Admissions tax as presented herein. Kittitas <br />County formerly (until 2001, when it was repealed) had an admission <br />tax that was codified in Ch. 3.22 KCC. It would be clearest to the <br />public to repopulate that chapter with the current tax provisions. <br />Hence, the proposed codification is numbered as sections of Ch. 3.22 <br />KCC. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Prosecutor’s office has prepared, reviewed and signed the <br />proposed resolution.
