KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />PUBLIC HEARING STAFF REPORT <br />HEARING DATE: October 6, 2009. <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Conduct a Public Hearing for the Six -Year Transportation <br />Improvement Plan for the years 2010-2015 and the Annual <br />Construction Program for 2010. <br />BACKGROUND: Public Works has prepared a Six Year Transportation <br />Improvement Plan for 2010-2015 and an Annual Construction <br />Program for 2010. <br />To prepare for the Six Year Transportation Improvement Plan and <br />Annual Construction Program, two open houses were held <br />receive input and comments from the public. An open house was <br />held in Cle Elum on September 16, 2009 and in Ellensburg on <br />September 17, 2009. <br />Public Works is requesting that the Board conduct a public <br />hearing for additional public review and testimony on these <br />plans. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Six -Year Transportation Improvement Plan and the <br />Annual Construction Program. <br />ATTACHEMENTS: 1. 2010 Annual Construction Plan and the 2010-2015 Six -Year <br />Transportation Improvement Plan <br />2.
