KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: December 19, 2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Approve an Agreement between the City of Cle Elum and <br />Kittitas County to provide Library Services to County <br />Residents for the Year 2018. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners approved <br />$19,950.00 in the 2018 budget for the City of Cle Elum to <br />provide library services to County residents living outside <br />the City limits for the period January 1, 2018 through <br />December 31, 2018. This is an increase of $950.00 from <br />last year’s budget. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Agreement was previously approved by the <br />Prosecutors office, and the budget amount has been verified <br />with Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve and authorize the Board to sign an Agreement <br />between Kittitas County and the City of Cle Elum to <br />provide library services to County residents in the amount <br />of $19,950.00 for the period beginning January 1, 2018 <br />through December 31, 2018. <br /> <br />HANDLING: 1 - Copy Clerk of the Board <br /> 2 - Originals to City of Cle Elum for signature. <br /> City of Cle Elum to return 1 fully executed original to <br />Clerk of the Board. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: 2018 Library Services Agreement between Kittitas County <br />& the City of Cle Elum. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board <br />
