KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: December 19, 2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Approve an Agreement between the City of Roslyn and <br />Kittitas County to provide Library Services to County <br />Residents for the year 2018. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners approved <br />$18,700.00 in the 2018 budget for the City of Roslyn to <br />provide library services to County residents living outside <br />the City limits from January 1, 2018 through December 31, <br />2018. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Agreement was previously approved by the <br />Prosecutors office and the budget amount has been verified <br />with Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager. This is a <br />decrease of $300.00 from last year’s budget. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve and authorize the Board to sign an Agreement <br />between Kittitas County and the City of Roslyn to provide <br />library services to County residents from January 1, 2018 <br />through December 31, 2018. <br /> <br />HANDLING: 1 copy – Clerk of the Board. <br />2 originals to City of Roslyn for signature. <br /> City of Roslyn to return 1 fully executed original to Clerk <br />of the Board. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: 2018 Library Services Agreement between Kittitas County <br />& the City of Roslyn. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board <br />
