KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: November 7, 2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Approve a Resolution Adopting Amendments the Kittitas <br />County Regional Library Board By-Laws. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: On January 16, 1996 the Kittitas County Regional Library <br />Board was created. Staff was directed to prepare a <br />Resolution to consider Adopting Amendments to the <br />current Kittitas County Regional Library Board By-Laws. <br /> <br /> Josephine Camarillo, Ellensburg Public Library Director, <br />provided Amendments to the Kittitas County Regional <br />Library Board By-Laws. The Kittitas County Regional <br />Library Board approved the amendments on August 15, <br />2017. The amendments are to Article III – Board Members <br />- Section 1 which adds language to include Central <br />Washington University’s Brooks Library Board the <br />opportunity to appoint a member to the KCRLB, if they <br />decide to participate. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Staff prepared a Resolution which has been reviewed by <br />Josephine Camarillo. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve a Resolution Adopting Amendments to the <br />Kittitas County Regional Library Board By-Laws. <br /> <br />HANDLING: 1 - Clerk of the Board <br /> 1 – Josephine Camarillo, KCRLB <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution <br /> KCRLB By-Laws <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board <br /> Josephine Camarillo, KCRLB
