KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: November 7, 2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Deny Claim of Richard Cole. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The claimant, Richard Cole (“Mr. Cole”) claims damages of over <br />$10,000, as a result of the hunting incident alleged in his claim, which <br />involved Mr. Cole hunting a deer while on private property. Mr. Cole <br />did not have permission to hunt on that parcel of private property. <br />Kittitas County Claim # 201710130040. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The incident alleged in the Claim was witnessed by a former Kittitas <br />County Deputy Prosecutor, as well as by Department of Fish and <br />Wildlife Officer Brent Scherzinger and Kittitas County Sheriff’s <br />Deputy Zach Green.
