KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />November 7, 2017 <br />Request to Approve a Resolution for the 2018 <br />Distressed County Sales and Use Tax <br />Infrastructure Improvement Program <br />Agreement with the City of Cle Elum. <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County Conference of Governments <br />(COG) met on July 19, 2017 to review the 2018 <br />submitted applications. COG recommended <br />awarding $234,480 to the City of Cle Elum. <br />After making this recommendation the City of <br />Cle Elum revised their application to reduce <br />the scope with COG recommending approval <br />of this revision. This Agreement is the final <br />step in the award process. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works; City of Cle Elum <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve & Sign the Resolution and the 2018 <br />Distressed County Sales and Use Tax <br />Infrastructure Improvement Program <br />Agreement. <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution, 2018 Distressed County Sales and <br />Use Tax Infrastructure Improvement Program <br />Agreement <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark Cook <br />Director of Public Works <br />
