KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: November 7, 2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Appoint Paul Ballard, Kittitas County Airport <br />Advisory Board - CWU Flight Tech Representative; <br />Appoint Jackie Herum, Kittitas County Law & <br />Justice Council 2nd Citizen at Large Position; <br />Appoint Theo Leonard, Kittitas County Water <br />Conservancy Board Alternate; Reappoint Dr. John <br />Asriel, to the Kittitas County Board of Health. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Staff received an application on 9-28-2017 from <br />Mr. Paul Ballard expressing interest in the <br />appointment of the vacant CWU Flight Tech. <br />Representative position on the Airport Advisory <br />Board. Staff forwarded the application to the <br />Airport Advisory Board (AAB) Clerk to route to the <br />AAB to consider and get their recommendation. <br /> <br /> Staff received an application on 9-21-2017 from <br />Mr. Theo Leonard expressing interest in the <br />appointment of the vacant Alternate Member on the <br />Water Conservancy Board. Staff forwarded the <br />application to the Kittitas County Water <br />Conservancy Board (KCWCB) Clerk to route to the <br />KCWCB to consider and get their recommendation. <br /> <br /> Staff received an application on 10-12-2017 from <br />Ms. Jackie Herum expressing interest in the <br />appointment of the vacant #2 Citizen at Large <br />Position on the Law & Justice Council. Staff <br />forwarded the application to the Kittitas County <br />Law & Justice Council (KCLJC) Clerk to route to <br />the KCLJC to consider and get their <br />recommendation. <br /> <br /> Staff sent a letter on 9-28-2017 to Dr. John Asriel <br />notifying him that his term on the Kittitas County <br />Board of Health would be ending at the end of <br />November.
