KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: October 3, 2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge FFY16 EMPG U.S. Department of <br />Homeland Security grant program contract E17-156 Amendment A. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Homeland Security Grant Program is part of the ongoing <br />Homeland Security grants that are managed through the Region 7 Interlocal Agreement. <br />This Amendment A extends the deadline for spending grant money from August 31, 2017 <br />to September 30, 2017. The timeline Exhibit D was also replaced to reflect the time <br />extension. There are no other changes. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office has reviewed and approved <br />the FFY16 EMPG grant contract Amendment A for time extension. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Acknowledge FFY16 EMPG U.S. Department of <br />Homeland Security grant program contract E17-156 Amendment A. <br /> <br />HANDLING: No handling. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Commander Darren Higashiyama
