I,rr •� ll. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITA.S COi.INTY, WASTI: NG)TON <br />Resolution Setting Tree Schedule for ) <br />Kittitas County Shed s Office to ) <br />Cover Cost of Administration and ) <br />Operation ) <br />Resolntlon Nqa <br />WHEREAS, in 1992 the State of Washington set the fees that are to be charged <br />by the County Sheriff for performing of.Clcial services at RC.W 36.18.040(1); <br />WHEREAS, since 1992 the Sheriffs actual cost of administratio-n and operation <br />to provide those services has increased si&mi,ticalidy; <br />WHEREAS, RCW 36.18.040(3) authorizes the Board of County Commissioners to <br />set the amount of fees that shall be collected by the Sheriff in order to cover the costs of <br />administration and opor•ation; <br />WHEREAS, die cost of services provided by the Sheriffshould be ;dally paid by <br />the parties benefiting from such services alid should riot be stibsidized by the Sheriff at <br />the expanse of the SherifPs public safety mission, and <br />WHEREAS, The Sheriff has exami-red tkze cost of admit-stra•tion and operation of <br />serviom provided by the Sheriff and has requested that the Board of County <br />Conun.issioners aotundor autharity ofRCW 36.15.040 to hicrease Sherifffees. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of County Commissionors does hereby rosolve <br />and establish the following: <br />SCHEDULE OF SHE REPT Is FEES <br />The I6ttitas County Sholif'fs shall colleot the .following fees for services: <br />-'1:,.
