Ruby St., Suite 2, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />CDS@CO.KITTITAS.WA.US <br />Office (509) 962-7506 <br />Fax (509) 962-7682 <br /> <br />“Building Partnerships – Building Communities” <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: August 15, 2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Signature of final mylar granting final approval for the Palomino Fields Plat – <br />Division I (LP-7-00031) <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: On November 18, 2008, the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners granted <br />preliminary plat approval to Palomino Fields, a proposed subdivision of 120.8 <br />acres into 120 lots (Resolution No. 2008-160). On May 17, 2016, the Board of <br />Commissioners approved a Development Agreement for the project to be <br />completed in five phases (Resolution No. 2016-073), and on May 2, 2017 the <br />Board approved an amendment to the Development Agreement allowing divisions <br />of platting to occur within the approved phases (Resolution No. 2017-081). <br /> <br /> The applicant is requesting final mylar approval for the first division of Phase 1 of <br />Palomino Fields. The first division includes a total of eight lots and an extension <br />of W. Bowers Road. Staff has reviewed the final mylar for this division, and finds <br />that all conditions of approval have been satisfied and that it is consistent with the <br />applicable provisions of Kittitas County Code and the approved Development <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />The project is located north of Dry Creek Road and west of Reecer Creek Road <br />within Section 27 of T.18N., R.18E., W.M. in Kittitas County. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Board of Commissioners, Community Development Services, Public Works, <br />Public Health, Treasurer, Assessor’s Office, Auditor’s Office <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Signature of the Chair on the mylar for final plat approval of the Palomino Fields <br />Plat – Division I (LP-7-00031). <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return signed mylar to staff for transmittal to authorized agent for recording. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Final mylar for Palomino Fields Plat – Division I <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Dan Carlson, AICP, Community Development Services Director
