KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: August 15, 2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Consider the reappointment of Erik Allen to the <br />Kittitas County Civil Service Commission. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: There is one vacant position on the Kittitas County <br />Civil Service Commission, which is due to Mr. <br />Allen’s term that has expired. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: On June 14th, 2017 Staff sent notice of Mr. Allen’s <br />term expiring. On July 31, 2017 Staff received a <br />letter dated July 11, 2017 from Mr. Allen asking the <br />Board to consider his reappointment. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Appoint Erik Allen to the Civil Service <br />Commission. For a 6 year term effective <br />immediately and expiring in June of 2023. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Staff to notify the Applicant and Kittitas County <br />Civil Service Commission of reappointment.
