KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: August 1, 2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Consider the Appointment of Gayl Curtiss to the Kittitas County <br />Homelessness & Affordable Housing Committee. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: On July 20, 2017 Staff received an application from Gayl Curtiss <br />requesting the Board consider her for appointment to the County’s <br />Homelessness & Affordable Housing Committee. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: On July 26, 2017 Staff received a letter from Debbie Myers, Clerk <br />for the Homelessness & Affordable Housing Committee stating <br />that the Committee had met and voted unanimously to <br />recommend that the BoCC consider appointing Ms. Curtiss. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Appoint Ms. Curtiss to the Homelessness and Affordable Housing <br />Committee for a 2 year term effective immediately. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Deputy Clerk of the Board to notify Ms. Curtiss of the County <br />Commissioner’s decision, update public website and send <br />notification to the Clerk of the HAHC. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Curtiss Application <br /> Curtiss Letter of Support <br /> <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II
