LODGING TAX ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br />205 West 5th Ave. Ste. 108 <br />Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />AUGUST 1, 2017 <br />Board of County Commissioners, <br />LTAC RECOMMENDATION <br />At the July 13, 2017 meeting of the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) the Lodging Tax <br />for Tourism -Related, Small -Scale Municipality -Owned Capital Projects and Operations Grant <br />Applications were reviewed/rated (see ratings below). <br />Grant Application Scores minimum 75points) <br />Cle Elum- WSHP- total -92 <br />Ellensburg Wayfinding- total -90 <br />Roslyn parking- total -82 <br />Cle Elum downtown- total -75 <br />Roslyn City Hall- total -60 (scored below the minimum 75 points) <br />The LTAC voted to forward the following recommendation for funding to the Board of County <br />Commissioners for Small Scale Capital Grant Applications. <br />#1 Cle Elum— WSHP $15,000 <br />#2 Ellensburg Wayfinding 27,500 <br />#3 Roslyn Parking 15,000 <br />#4 Cle Elum downtown 17.500 <br />$75,000 Total <br />The LTAC also voted to recommend allocating $207,000 for the County's Grant funding request <br />(eight different components) with some structured language in the Forest Service Agreement for <br />deliverables and additional information; and language in the Agreement with the Town to <br />Teanaway project with the understanding that the County is willing to help with the plan <br />structure, but may not necessarily approve of the plan. <br />Thank you, <br />Debbie Myers, Clerk <br />Kittitas County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee <br />de lib ie . m ]' ersC�co. ki tt i to s . wa. u s <br />Kittitas County Courthouse • 205 West 5°iAvenue, STE 108 • Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />(509) 962-7508 -FAX (509) 962-7679 <br />
