KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: July 18, 2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Consider the reappointment of Douglas <br />Hannon to the Kittitas County Horticultural <br />Pest and Disease Board. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: As of June 30, 2017 there are four vacant <br />positions on the Horticultural Pest & Disease <br />Board. Staff sent letters on June 13, 2017 <br />notifying members that their terms will be <br />expiring soon. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: On June 21, 2017 the BoCC received a letter <br />from current member Douglas Hannon <br />requesting the Board reappoint him for <br />another term. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Reappoint Douglas Hannon for another two <br />year term. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Deputy Clerk of the Board to notify the Mr. <br />Hannon and the Kittitas County Horticultural <br />Pest and Disease Board of the BoCC’s decision, <br />as well as update the County website. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Letter from Douglas Hannon <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II
