Kittitas County <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Agenda Date: <br />June 20, 2017 <br /> <br />Action Requested: <br />To adopt the Resolution setting the dates for the 2018 Budget <br /> Process and to set a Public Hearing on December 4th, 2017 at 2:00 <br />pm <br /> <br /> <br />Background: <br />As per RCW, the BoCC must schedule a public hearing to adopt the 2018 <br />Budget for the first Monday in December, the hearing may continue day to <br />day, but may not exceed a total of five days. <br /> <br />This resolution also sets the dates and alternative dates for the 2018 <br />budget process. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Request the board approve and sign the resolution to set the dates <br /> for the 2018 budget process and set a public hearing on December 4th, <br />2017, at 2:00 pm which may be continued until December 8th, 2017. <br /> <br />Handling: <br /> Copy to Judy Pless <br /> Judy will distribute <br /> <br />Attachments <br />Resolution setting the dates for the 2018 budget <br /> <br /> <br />Lead Staff <br />Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager <br /> Kittitas County Auditor’s Office
