<br /> <br />PROCLAMATION <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Ellensburg High School Boys Baseball <br />2017 2A State Champions Day – June 19, 2017 <br /> <br />WHEREAS: the Ellensburg High School Baseball team had a record of 23 wins and 3 losses during <br />their 2017 season; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: the Ellensburg High School Baseball team qualified for the 2A State Baseball Tournament <br />in Yakima, Washington and on May 27, 2017 they defeated WF West in the State <br />Championship game by a score of 5-1; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners would like to recognize the Ellensburg High <br />School Baseball team members Connor Wing, Hunter Gibson, Davis Spencer, Brady <br />Gibson, Bryce Helgeson, Ramsey Watts, Major Moffat, TJ Schneider, Gage Gibson, Tyler <br />Polacek, Riley Seed, Brady Helgeson, Jadon Bugni, Blake Gibson, Greyson McLeod, <br />Xander Orejudos, and Trace Townsend; along with their coaches and assistants for their <br />accomplishments over the past few months and for their hard work, dedication, and love <br />for the sport of baseball; <br /> <br />WHEREAS: these young men not only brought home a State Championship for their school, but they <br />also served as ambassadors for Kittitas County as they played throughout their season; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: The Board of Commissioners would like to request that the <br />citizens of Kittitas County to join them in celebrating and honoring the 2017 Ellensburg High School <br />Baseball team and Proclaim June 19, 2017 as “Ellensburg High School Baseball State Champions Day” in <br />Kittitas County. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 6th day of June 2017. <br />THE KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br /> Paul Jewell, Chairman <br /> <br /> <br /> Laura Osiadacz, Vice-Chairman <br /> <br /> <br /> Obie O’Brien, Commissioner <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board
