KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: April 18, 2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Approve a Resolution authorizing an Interlocal Agreement <br />between Kittitas County and the City of Ellensburg regarding the <br />use of Reed Park. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Chairman Jewell worked with the City of Ellensburg & County <br />Staff to come up with an Interlocal Agreement (ILA) that allows <br />the County to exercise its right to use Reed Park during events at <br />the Event Center. Staff was directed to place the ILA and <br />Resolution between Kittitas County & the City of Ellensburg <br />onto the next Agenda Session for consideration. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Prosecutors Office reviewed the Agreement drafted by the <br />City of Ellensburg (Camas #38072), and drafted the Resolution. <br /> <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution Authorizing an Interlocal Agreement <br />between Kittitas County & City of Ellensburg regarding the use <br />of Reed Park. <br /> <br /> <br />HANDLING: 1 - Copy Clerk of the Board <br /> 2 – Original ILA’s to City of Ellensburg for signature - Once <br />returned staff to upload one fully executed ILA to ILA Page and <br />send a copy to Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager & Event <br />Center Director. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution, Interlocal Agreement and PA’s Service Request <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board on behalf of <br />Chairman Paul Jewell
