KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: April 4, 2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Consider two Appointments to the Planning Commission Dist. #1 <br />Vacancies & Authorize the Chair to Sign Letters of appointment. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Currently there are 2 vacant positions on the Kittitas County <br />Planning Commission Dist. #1. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Mary Monahan Application submitted on 3-15-2017. <br /> Donald Chance Application submitted on 3-20-2017. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Appoint Ms. Monahan and Mr. Chance to the vacant Dist. #1 <br />Planning Commission seats, for a term to commence immediately <br />& expire on December 31, 2020 and authorize the Chair to sign <br />letters of appointment. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Staff to notify the selected candidate and notify the Clerk of the <br />Planning Commission, as well as update Boards and Committees <br />website. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Applications from: Mary Monahan (Dist. #1) <br /> Donald Chance (Dist. #1) <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board
