KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: March 7, 2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Approve an Agreement between Kittitas County and Kittitas <br />County Chamber of Commerce for Donated Items. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Chairman Jewell worked with County Staff and the Kittitas <br />County Chamber to come to a mutual Agreement between <br />parties. Staff was directed to place the Agreement between <br />Kittitas County & Kittitas County Chamber onto the March 7, <br />2017 Agenda. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Prosecutors Office drafted the Agreement (Camas #35760). <br /> The Chamber has already signed the Agreement. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to approve an Agreement between Kittitas County & <br />Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce for Donated Items from <br />3/7/2017 for 5 years for the following dates Memorial Day; <br />Relay for Life Event including the small stage, one weekend in <br />May or June date TBD; Thursday – Sunday last weekend in July <br />for Jazz in the Valley; Chamber Rodeo Kick-off Breakfast; <br />Friday & Saturday two weeks prior to the Ellensburg Rodeo; <br />Ellensburg Rodeo Posse Breakfast; Sunday of Labor Day <br />Weekend; Thorp Community Days; first Saturday in October, <br />and up to 4 other mutually agreeable dates throughout the year. <br />Delivery & return to the Event Center will be the responsibility <br />of the Chamber. <br /> <br /> <br />HANDLING: 1 - Clerk of the Board <br /> 1 - Chamber <br /> 1 - Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Agreement <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board on behalf of <br />Chairman Paul Jewell
