KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />March 7, 2017 <br />Approve a Resolution to Award the bid to <br />furnish Weed Spray Materials for 2017. <br />BACKGROUND: Annually, Kittitas County Public Works goes <br />out to bid for the furnishing of Weed Spray <br />Materials in accordance with specifications. <br />Bid packets are sent out to all local businesses <br />in order to give equal opportunity. <br />Bids were opened on February 23, 2017 at <br />2:00 p.m. Three bids were received and <br />deemed responsive. Bids and individual <br />chemical specifications were reviewed by staff. <br />INTERACTION: <br />Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Move to approve a Resolution to Award the bid <br />to furnish Weed Spray Materials for 2017 to <br />Helena Chemical Co. <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) copy to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; Bid Tab <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark Cook <br />Public Works Director <br />
