BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />PROCLAMATION <br />PROCLAIMING THE WEEK OF APRIL 3-9 2017 AS <br />NATIONAL PUBLIC HEALTH WEEK <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The week of April 3-9, 2017 is National Public Health Week, <br />sponsored by “Healthiest Nation 2030”; and <br />WHEREAS: the Kittitas County Public Health Department will support and <br />recognize national Public Health Week 2017, and work to preserve, <br />promote, and improve the health of this country in order to create the <br />healthiest nation in one generation; and <br />WHEREAS: the Kittitas County Public Health Department, in the public interest <br />of its residents, will work towards preventing the spread of disease, <br />promoting physical activity, healthy lifestyles, and support public <br />health systems; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Kittitas County Board of <br />Commissioners here do by proclaim the week of April 3 -9 , 2017 as National Public <br />Health Week, and urge all residents to recognize its significance, and its mission to <br />“Get People Moving” in order to become a happier and healthier United States by <br />2030. <br />SIGNED this ____day of________, 2017. <br /> <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />________________________________ <br />Paul Jewell, Chairman <br />________________________________ <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice-Chairman <br />________________________________ <br />Obie O’Brien, Commissioner
