<br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: February 7, 2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) approve and <br />sign the 2017 Lodging Tax Services Agreements as awarded by <br />Resolution No. 2016-176 which was approved during the December <br />20, 2016 Agenda Session of the BOCC. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Consolidated Lodging Tax work group met on November 18, <br />2016 in an open public meeting to deliberate and reach their final <br />funding recommendation which was forwarded to each legislative <br />body for final approval. The Group recommended allocating <br />$216,990.00 of Lodging Tax funds for special events and projects. <br />The BOCC approved disbursement of funds from the Lodging Tax <br />fund through Resolution No 2016-176. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Kittitas County’s designation is $172,787.000, Ellensburg’s <br />designation is $34,303.00, Cle Elum’s designation is $7,920.00, <br />Roslyn’s designation is $1,980.00. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request the BOCC approve and sign the attached 2017 Lodging Tax <br />Services Agreements 2017-001 LT through 2017-026 LT, as awarded <br />by Resolution No. 2016-176. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Original – Clerk of the Board <br /> Copy – LTAC <br /> Copy-Auditor <br /> Copy- Applicants <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Kittitas County Resolution No. 2016-176 <br /> Lodging Tax Agreements 2017-001 LT through 2017-026 LT <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Debbie Myers, LTAC Clerk <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
