KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Human Resource Department <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: January 17, 2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: REQUEST TO APPROVE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT <br />AND SUBSCRIPTION AGREEMENT WITH TEAMSTERS LOCAL 760 <br />(LINE UNION) <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Teamsters Local 760 represents the interests of Line Deputies <br />employed by the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office. The previous <br />Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) expired 12/31/16. <br /> <br />Representation for Local 760 and representation for Kittitas <br />County have reached a point of agreement on a continuing <br />contract. <br /> <br />The members of Local 760 have voted to accept the proposed <br />contract language. <br /> <br />The Subscription Agreement indicates the medical, dental, vision, <br />and life coverage available to members of this Union for the <br />duration of the CBA. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Lisa Young, HR Director <br />KCSO Command Staff <br />Local 760 Representatives/Teamsters <br />Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners <br />Christopher Horner, DPA <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: The Human Resource Department recommends Board approval of <br />the attached CBA and Chair signature on the Subscription <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />HANDLING: CBA: Please return two (2) originals to HR. <br />Subscription Agreement: Please return the one (1) original to HR. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Collective Bargaining Agreement and Subscription Agreement <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Lisa Young, Human Resource Director <br />
