The Board of Kittitas County Commissioners will meet at 2:00 p.m. on April 2, 2019 in Room 109 at 205 W. 5th Ave. Ellensburg, WA to review the community development and housing needs, inform citizens of the availability of funds and eligible uses of the State Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and receive comments on proposed activities, particularly from lower income persons residing in Kittitas County. $83,567.00 is proposed to be available annually to Kittitas County and HopeSource to fund public services that principally benefit low-and moderate-income persons. An overview of the proposed public services will be available at the Kittitas County Commissioners Office during normal business hours from March 20, 2019 to April 2, 2019. Comments on Kittitas County and HopeSources' past performance and use of their 2018 CDBG Public Services Grant will also be received. The Kittitas County Commissioners Auditorium is handicap accessible. Arrangements to reasonably accommodate special needs, including handicap accessibility or interpreter, will be made upon receiving 24-hour advance notice.
