BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2026 - <br />TO AWARD THE CONTRACT FOR <br />THE BARN/CLUBHOUSE, GARAGE, AND SHED DEMOLITION AND GARBAGE <br />REMOVAL PROJECT <br />AND AUTHORIZE THE WATER RESOURCES MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAME <br />WHEREAS: The Department of Public Works solicited bids for the Barn/Clubhouse, <br />Garage, and Shed Demolition and Garbage Removal Project in accordance <br />with RCW 39.04.155 Small Works Roster Contract Procedures; and <br />WHEREAS: A Mandatory Site Visit was held on site on September 8, 2026; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were received and opened on September 18, 2026, at 3:00pm; and <br />WHEREAS: One responsive bid was received for the prescribed work; and <br />WHEREAS: The Water Resources Manager recommends the responsive bid from Belsaas <br />and Smith Construction, Inc., in the amount of $124,707.45 be accepted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby award the contract for the <br />Barn/Clubhouse, Garage, and Shed Demolition and Garbage Removal Project <br />in the amount of $124,707.45. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Water Resources Manager is authorized to sign the <br />contract documents for said project. <br />DATED on this 6th day of October 2026, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, <br />WASHINGTON <br />Brett Wachsmith, Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chairman <br />Jeff Leichleiter, Commissioner <br />
