09/21/2026 MINUTES 2 <br />Anniversary Memorial Ceremony in Cle Elum on Friday, September 25, <br />2026. <br /> <br />UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br /> <br />Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to <br />meet with on a weekly basis for the year. The assignments for 2026 <br />were determined during a Board of County Commissioners Office Admin <br />meeting and they will continue to provide updates at future <br />meetings. <br /> <br />Each Commissioner reviewed discussions held with their respective <br />departments and exchanged details of those meetings. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES – There were general updates on <br />meetings & conversations that the Board participated in, <br />individually, over the past week. <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz will attend the November WSAC Annual <br />Conference and attend LSC on behalf of Commissioner Leichleiter. <br /> <br />Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board shared with the Board that under <br />the previous Chairman, he had directed the Auditor’s Office to <br />approve Department Head PTO and timecards. She questioned if the <br />Board wanted to maintain that process or if they would like it <br />returned to the Chair. There was concern expressed about that <br />process being implemented and the Board agreed it should be returned <br />the Chair of the Board. <br /> <br />The Board discussed adding to the Quarterly Chamber ADO Update an <br />update from the new Executive Director of Economic Development for <br />2027.
